The Horse in Motion 1878 movie is a series of cabinet cards by Eadweard Muybridge, including six cards that display a sequential series of 6 to 12 "automatic electro-photographs" representing the movement of a horse he used in the movie. Muybridge shot the photographs in June 1878.
